In an attempt to bring more women in to the world of Air Traffic Controllers, Air Traffic Control the Netherlands is hosting a Girls Only event at their Schiphol tower. Essentially its an open house where girls get to ask questions about the profession, see how and what the ATC controller do, etc.. You can see the horribly translated version of the site via babelfish. Does anyone know if Nav Canada does anything similar here? I think it's a great idea! Girls Only! 
There currently isn't anything like this going on, but I agree that it is a great idea. Worldwide ATC sucess rates are terrible, and I think that attracting new types of trainees could ne part of the key to changing that
