Longest Clearance Ever!

September 10, 2007 12:41 200 views 2 Comments

I’ve been busy with other non-aviation stuff this past week. My next flight is slated for Thursday.

With that in mind, have a listen to the longest IFR clearance ever. It’s from JFK. The 88 seconds of instructions can be downloaded here.

On another note, I am also reading “Secrets From the Tower” by Bob Richards. I’m about three quarters through the book and will write up a quick review of it shortly. It’s been a great read so far.

Intersting blog, I stumbled upon it by accident, but have enjoyed reading it. I am a IFR controlelr at YYZ, and a former flight instructor. I will check back once in a while to see how its going. What rating are you working on right know? and what are your aspirations?

    Hello,
Glad you found the site. I hope that you’ll come back often.
I’m working on my night rating right now, then on to my multi-ifr while working on getting the hours for my commercial.
My plan is to change careers from being a computer nerd to full time pilot. So far things are on track.
