2007 resulted in getting my PPL and night rating. I have met a lot of interesting people and still keep in touch with them.. mainly my FIs that moved on. 2007 was a year for a lot of opportunities for the FI at Toronto Airways.

I’m hoping to get my CPL and multi-engine rating by late summer (weather permitting). All that’s left is my multi-ifr which should be complete by the end of 2008.

I’m not going to speculate what is going to happen in 2009.

It was very random how I ended up on this page, through facebook somehow. It’s interesting though, I have nearly the same time-line you have, just about to finish the night rating in Pitt Meadows BC. The weather lately has not been co-operating. Keep up the hard work~!

    Glad you made it!
Hope the weather gets better for you. Do you have any plans for after you get your night rating?

    Hi,
I’m a captain with Westjet. Reading your blog here is bringing back fond memories. I did my training in Pitt Meadows, BC, as well as Abbotsford and Vancouver International.
Keep up the hard work. There is no better career. Drop me a line if you have any questions.
